A. No. We do not accept paper applications. All applications must be submitted via our online application process using a valid email address.

A. We ask you to create a user profile to make your application secure and to ensure your privacy. A valid email address (username) and password will give you a unique way to sign into your Hollywood Casino profile. Our system uses the email address you provide as a communication tool for scheduling interviews and updating you on your application status. When you login using your username and password, you can check on the status of your application, edit the information you provided, and/or view instructions you may receive from our company. Q. If I don't see the position I am interested in, can I be alerted when the job becomes available?
A. Yes. When you search a specific job and no options are available, you can create a "Search Agent". Creating the search agent allows you to either repeat your search at a later date, or to have the results of your search e-mailed to you on a regular basis.
Q. How do I know my application was received?
A. After you have completed your entire application, and click on the "Submit" button, you will be taken to a page that will acknowledge your application has been received. In addition, you will also receive an email confirmation each time you apply for a new position.
Q. Can I apply for more than one job?
A. Yes. You can apply for as many positions as you would like. We would strongly recommend only placing applications for those positions that most closely match your field of experience.
Q. How soon can I expect a response after I submit my application?
A. Applications are forwarded to the hiring manager on a weekly basis and potential candidates will be notified via phone or email.
Q. Is there a number to call so that I can discuss the status of my application?
A. Unfortunately we are unable to accept phone calls due the volume of applicants. However, log on to www.hollywoodcolumbus.com to find out the status of your application through your online account.
Q. How can I find out how much a certain job pays?
A. Wages will be discussed during interview process.
Q. Does Hollywood Casino require a drug test to get hired?
A. Yes, drug testing is a condition of employment at our company. At Hollywood Casino, we will test for drug and nicotine use.
Q. Do I need to have prior casino experience?
A. Some positions have qualifications that utilize crossover skills from other industries, while other positions are very casino specific. At Hollywood Casino, we are focused creating a red carpet experience for our guests. If you believe you have what it takes to provide exceptional guest service, we encourage you to apply and we are willing train you on the technical aspect of the position.
Q. Do all positions require a gaming license?
A. All appropriate licensing requirements will be discussed during the interview and job offer process.
Q. How do I obtain a gaming license if I need one?
A. If offered a position that requires a gaming license, you will be given instructions on how to complete the application process before, or during your job offer. All gaming licensing requirements will be completed at the casino. Do not contact the Ohio Casino Control Commission directly.
Q. I already have a gaming license from another state, will I need to get a new one?
A. Yes, you will have to obtain an Ohio State Gaming License.
Q. What are the minimum requirements needed to obtain an Ohio State Gaming License?
A. The state is still defining the criteria, but they will consider criminal background and credit worthiness when reviewing applications for Gaming Licenses.
